Library Hours

Sunday-Thursday: 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The Tycher Library is located in the Mankoff Center for Jewish Learning on the 2nd floor of the Aaron Family Jewish Community Center (7900 Northaven Road in Dallas, TX 75230)

We are very excited about our 2010 Tycher Library Community Read author and want you to be the first to know!  We will be reading Great House by Nicole Krauss (History of Love) and she will be in Dallas on October 26 to have a conversation about her book.  The book is not yet available to the public and we will be the first in the country to have copies to sell in Tycher.

We hope to have copies of the hardback book to sell by September 1 at the latest!  The regular price is $24.95 and we are selling it for $18, no tax, before October 26.  The library will have a limited number of copies to check out.  We have reduced the price substantially in the hope that you will buy the book and have it signed by the author at the event.

Please call Judy or Linda at 214 239-7133 and ask to have a book set aside for you.  You will be able to pick this up at your September book club, or come up and purchase a copy any time after September 1.  We are expecting a very large crowd as Nicole Krauss is an award-winning author and very well-known in literary circles.  If you pre-register you will have reserved seating.  Let us put your name on our list of attendees.
